Look at those thighs. She's thick. That being said, absolutely nothing wrong with thick girls.
I think it's just a nice reminder that airbrush and other digital photo "enhancements" can make anyone look like:

On her most recent video, she looks like she's in awesome shape. She had what looked like hard abs, and really in shape legs, etc. I was thinking "wow.. she has taken some time and effort and really gotten into shape!!"
They took some effort in getting her edited there apparently!
I saw her on TV during New Years eve, and I wondered what the heck happened to her.
Now of course there's nothing wrong with how she looks in the first photos posted on here.. she's a little thick, but hey, who isn't? she takes too much time & effort pretending to be tall and slender.

I don't know, with professional trainers and dieticians and all, I guess if they really want to, a lot of them can get into shape and look more toned in short time. Then of course she goes out and has all sorts of wildness and forget it for a while :P
Personally I love her. She's a rare combination in Hollywood b/c God knows she can belt a tune, and she's stunning. I really liked her older stuff like "always be my baby" and I like her new stuff too..
Yeah, that's def true Rock. I saw a recent pic of Janet Jackson and her weight had ballooned like whoa. But she's kinda known for that. She binges for months, then when it's promo and cd release time, she works her booty off. Literally!
But that first pic above is DEFINITELY "enhanced".
And they've elongated her legs in the album cover. That's a known fact.
I'm not a huge fan of Mariah, but I'll sing along if her song comes on and I decide I don't wanna change the channel. At least with the newer stuff. Its not just the women of Hollywood that undergo these tranformations, the men are usually flabby bellied as well before they shoot their big time movies. Like someone said, you have your trainer and personal chefs to come in and help these people out for a few months and 25 pounds later they look like gods.
